Description
Graduation project completed in 2009 as part of a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Techniques - Infographic Techniques specialisation. A complete 3D modelling showcase for an architectural project designed by Plan 7 studio in Mons, under the direction of Stéphane Gailliez, Architect-Engineer.
The project involves the construction of 18 social housing units in the municipality of Incourt, Brabant Wallon. Inspired by local agricultural architecture - barns, farms, blind gable ends - the complex is arranged in a square around a convivial central courtyard, combining collective life and intimacy.
The modelling work spans several progressive phases: cadastral modelling, volumetric 3D implementation, material tests, complete modelling with textures and landscaping, interior perspectives and a walkthrough animation.
The views presented here are a reinterpretation of the original work - the 2009 models were reimported into SketchUp and reworked with V-Ray, drawing on fifteen additional years of expertise and the best tools available today to produce contemporary quality renders.
